Many imagine yoga is mainly for the spiritually inclined, so let’s put an end to that myth. Yoga doesn’t care what you are, whether you eat meat, smoke cigarettes or enjoy vodka on the rocks – although most people who embrace yoga find they start dropping things they do to excess without realizing it. When taught correctly, yoga has the power to get into your mind. This is achieved by opening the chakras through certain body postures and breathing techniques. Yoga is more than an exercise form. Yoga fuses the body with the mind and soul so that you are able to stretch the body into glorious shapes – even as a beginner.
